8 spots are currently available for my 2025 Artist’s Way Group, which will start the week of January 13th and consist of 13, hour-and-a-half virtual meetings.
The total group series cost is $600. A $200 deposit will be due immediately to hold your spot and the remaining $400 can be made in one or two payments, depending on your preference. Additional payment plans are available upon request.

What is The Artist’s Way?
The Artist’s Way was published by Julia Cameron in 1992 and has inspired many people around the world to recover their relationship to creativity ever since. The book is divided into 12 chapters, with each being explored over the course of a week.
What does the group consist of?
Weekly 1.5-hour meetings to share your experiences of navigating each chapter and feel connected to others going through the same process.
What size are the groups?
The group will be capped at 8 participants.
What does the group cost?
A one-time payment of $600. A deposit of $200 to hold your spot in the group will be due by January 3rd. The remaining $400 can be paid as a one-time payment or two payments of $200.
What am I paying for?
One introductory group to get to know each other and calm the nerves
Twelve weekly groups to process the experience
Guided facilitation by me, Ana Hernández, MSSW, MA. I have gone through The Artist’s Way five times myself and have eight years of group facilitation experience
Do I have to be a “capital A” artist to join the group?
Not at all! In fact, the purpose of The Artist’s Way is not to push you to be or become an artist full-time, but rather to nurture the creativity that lies inside all of us.
Do I have to share my art with the group?
Not unless you want to. This journey is much more about your internal experience, rather than producing something to share.
She mentions God in the book, is this religious?
No, this is not a religious book or group. She uses the concept of “God” as a way to anthropomorphize the idea of creativity. This definitely took me aback when first looking at the book, but I would actually say that through doing The Artist’s Way I was able to develop an authentic spiritual creative practice for myself that I hadn’t had before.
