Take Up Space

There is room for all of us

Take Up Space

Take Up Space is a project from Vidina Vision Consulting merging creativity and body liberation.

Many times people are told to “take up space” with their creativity, without being provided with the tools and support around all of the many ways they have been told NOT to Take Up Space in their lives.

As I have gone on my own journey to heal my creativity, I have seen so many connections with my parallel experience of healing my relationship with my body and myself. Take Up Space is my attempt to deepen and understand this connection, and share it with others.

Take Up Space is based in abundance. In the trust that there is an abundance of time, of ideas, of creativity, of support, and most of all - of SPACE.

Join my Take Up Space monthly group!

What is it?

A monthly virtual supportive space to bring your ideas and creative dreams and goals, as well as connect with others who are doing the same.

Who is it for?

Anyone who is working on creative projects or ideas (initiative, business, etc.) that would like a supportive monthly group to explore incorporating creativity into their work and life from the perspective of body liberation.

How does it work?

You can sign up for one group at a time, or multiple using the form below! The fee per group is $45 for 1.5 hours.

What is body liberation?

“Body liberation is freedom from social and political systems of oppression that designate certain bodies as more worthy, healthy, and desirable than others.” (Lindley Ashline)

Through Take Up Space I ask the question - how can we truly take up space with our ideas and creativity in a world that consistently tells us that we should not and cannot take up space with our bodies and authentic selves?

Many creatives and healers have influenced this project. I encourage you to check out their work!
